Kolkata Fashion Week: Varchasv by Ankit Mehta

3 Jan ’14

These photos are from the previous Kolkata Fashion Week. The collection is Kolkata based fashion designer Ankit Mehta‘s ‘Varchasv’. I liked it. It was classy, colourful and extremely elegant, except maybe for the short dress which comes a tad under-developed compared to the other ones. But then, that is just me.

Strikingly beautiful eyes! Varchasv by Ankit Mehta at Kolkata Fashion Week. By Animesh Ray.

Her eyes remind me of actresses from the 50s and 60s. What do you think?

She reminds me of Anarkali, of the eternal love story “Mughal-e-Azam”.

And yeah, for this I didn’t post any Lightroom/Photoshop details. Why? Well, I lost the information! It was my pre-Lightroom days. To see more photos from Ankit Mehta’s Varchasv collection you can head over to EastGrad Fashion.

I have a very bad habit. I am a extreme laggard when it comes to posting my photos online. To get yourself noticed on the big bad internet, and to grow your blog, one has to regularly post good content on their blogs! It’s important to showcase your stuff to the world, instead of it rotting away in the dark corners of the hard disk. I know this, but still I fall short. I need to rectify at the earliest!
